NYCN Support Igando-Ikotun LCDA Students with GCE Forms

  National Youth Council of Nigeria, Igando-Ikotun Local Council Development Area  branch, have doled out 10 free GCE forms to aspiring students who are willing to further their education. The group under the leadership of Comr. Muhammad Mustapha (General), distributed the 10 free GCE forms recently to NYCN members at the premises of  Igando-Ikotun LCDA. According to the press statement released by NYCN Public Relation Officer, Igando - Ikotun branch, Comrd. Onilogbo Bashir, stated that the initiative was made possible with the support of the Local Government Executive Chairman, Senior Comrade Lasisi Akinsanya and her Vice Hon. Mojisola Badmus. The statement read, " We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Executive Chairman, Senior Comrade Lasisi Akinsanya and her Vice, Hon. Mojisola Badmus, for their unwavering commitment and efforts" He said that the group remains committed to seeing youths of the of the area get educated.

IYD 2024 : IKUGBAYIGBE hails Nigeria youth, promises inclusive government

Egbe prominent social club shut down Lagos

  The unique alias, Abe - Igi Anu  Club of Egbe, is not one of the Lagos Clubs, Lagosians are planning to relinquish anytime soon. The social club didn’t fail short of standard by swearing in newly elected   officers on a high note on July 30th, at the club rendezvous center, No. 20 Liasu Road Egbe , Lagos.  living up to its renowned status , the event was attended by timbers and calibers, cream de la cream of  the community.    The executive Chairman of Igando - Ikotun LCDA, Hon. Lasis Ayinde Akinsanya has asked parents to warn their children against taking part in the  nationwide protest, urged youth to shelve their plans and eschew any form of proposed rage, anarchy, and spoliation. According to the Chairman, during a stakeholders meeting with Oba's , religion leaders, Security operatives ,  CDAs, youth and NURTW members,  the protest bore the semblance of the EndSARS saga and the Kenya scenario. He said it was the right of citizens to demonstrate against certain government’s actions, but implored the organiser to explore other means to demand answers to the problems in the country in the interest of peace.  Hon. Lagos Oba's urges youths to evade nationwide protest

  * Two days to the planned nationwide protest, Royal Fathers Sue's for dialogue as positive way forward to make their  feelings to the government of the state.* Oba's in Igando - Ikotun Local Council Development Area (LCDA), on Monday  ratcheted up their appeal for residents to shun nationwide protest scheduled to commence  august 1st to 15th,  in response to the economic hardship experienced in the country. The Oba's made the appeal at a stakeholders meeting organised by Igando - Ikotun LCDA, on the impending nationwide protest to address the issue of breakdown of  law and order in the Local Council Development Area.
