IYD 2024 : IKUGBAYIGBE hails Nigeria youth, promises inclusive government

 

As Nigeria joins the rest of the world to mark the 2024 International Youth Day (IYD), Elder Comr. Femi Ikugbayigbe has hailed Nigerian youths for the  crucial role play in using digital technologies to drive sustainable progress to the country.

In a statement released on Monday  by the leading aspirants for a chairmanship position in Egbe - Idimu LCDA , for the forthcoming Local Government  Area election  in Lagos State. 

Elder Ikugbayigbe Stated that the youths have showcased a valuable qualities and  potential to shape the future of nations. 

International Youth Day (IYD) is observed on August 12 every year, to mark the contributions of the youth in the development of society alongside understanding the challenges faced by them.

This year’s IYD has the theme: ‘From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development.

The seasoned Journalist cum Public Affairs Analyst whose 4th 5th and six manistesto  centered on Education, Employment opportunities for all youths and Youth Social/ Sport development if elected the Executive Chairman of Egbe-Idimu LCDA said that, youths are largely recognized as "digital natives,” using technology to drive change and create solutions. 

That the role of young people in digital innovation is essential for addressing global issues.

Elder Ikugbayigbe affirmed that by celebrating the digital contributions of youth, we can inspire further innovation and collaboration towards achieving sustainable development. 

Elder Ikugbayigbe calls on every society and leaders to stand up in support of youths and heed to their voice. That providing a useful resources for  youths  to shape their dreams will create a better future for everyone.
