Why i wants to be Council Chairman - Ikugbayigbe

 


A Chairmanship Aspirant under the All Pogressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming Lagos State Local Government election, Elder, Comr. Femi Ikugbayigbe, has explained why he wanted to be the Chairman of Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area.

Ikugalbayigbe gave the explanation in a press statement signed by him in Lagos.

“My major priority will be people’s welfare, Child Education, Aged Engagement, massive Empowerment, Youth Employment, Infrastructural development and Agriculture”, said Ikugbayigbe.

The season journalist cum public affairs analyst said he would ensure people above sixty years (60 years) of age and People Living With Disabilities (PLWD) will be well taken care of in his administration.

He stressed that the youths, women and middle age people will not be left out in his planned welfare program.

The professional Public Relations Officer said aged people are always neglected after election, adding that he will take their welfare seriously through a proposed program tagged ‘Aged engagement’.

On infrastructure, he said he will continue with the excellent job of the outgoing Chairman, Kunle Sanyaolu Olowoopejo.

Ikugbayigbe said his Eight (8) points agenda will cover all aspects of life, ranging from; Empowerment/Welfare, Infrastructural development, Employment Opportunities, Child/Adults Education, Youth Social/Sports, Religion/Culture, Environment and Agriculture.

He appealed to APC leaders, Royal fathers, Chiefs, Community leaders, religious leaders, Market men and women, civil servants, youths, artisans, transporters, NGOs, clubs among others to support his aspiration for a better and greater Egbe-Idimu LCDA
