Lagos LGAs Election: *Ikugbayigbe Appoints Akinyemi as Head of Media & Publicity*

 




*Elder, Comr. Femi Ikugbayigbe* a Chairmanship Aspirant in Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming Lagos State Local Government election, today appointed Comr. Waheed Akinyemi as the Head of Media and Publicity of his campaign.

The appointment according to Ikugbayigbe takes effect from today, 23rd of July, 2024. 

Ikugbayigbe handed letter of appointment to Akinyemi in his office at Ikotun, Lagos, today.

In his capacity, Comrade Akinyemi will be responsible for managing the aspirant media office, media relations and leading the public communications team.

While congratulating Akinyemi on his appointment, IKUGBAYIGBE a political loyalist and Public Affairs Analyst Urged him (Akinyemi) to bring his wealth of experience to bear on the new assignment.


The appointment letter read, "Akinyemi appointment was based on his vast knowledge and experiences in the media word. He will supervise all media activities of Ikugbayigbe's Chairmanship campaign programmes. 

Akinyemi a graduate of Nigeria Institute of Journalism (NIJ) Ogba,  and a seasoned investigative journalist and a Publisher.

In 2013 Waheed  co-founded  Our Community Publication, he is  also a shareholder of Alimosho Heroes Award which started in 2015 to honoured distinguished individuals and organisations who has contributed immensely to the development of their society.

Same year, Comr. Akinyemi co-founded the first safety awards in Nigeria, (Nigeria Safety Award for Excellent) to honoured Health and Safety individuals and organisations.

Egbe prominent social club shut down Lagos

  The unique alias, Abe - Igi Anu  Club of Egbe, is not one of the Lagos Clubs, Lagosians are planning to relinquish anytime soon.
